Wings & a Halo

Just as we start up for "Big Fun", our sheltie took a turn for the worse. She was a walking noise maker. Barking at most things....large and small. We loved her very much and allowed her tenacious, happy personality to shine. She was funny and enjoyed being humorous. At 19lbs. she could belch like a frat brother. It was  hysterically funny that such a small thing could make such a huge noise. Creepy music made her growl....it bugged her. We were lucky to have her as a companion.

I must thank Dottie Angel's Tif for her generosity during the time we were dealing with Elsa's year long battle. I would get her quiet next to me and pet her while reading Tif's blog and gazing at the lovely photos. It was our place to go and cheer up. White clean walls, soft colours....handmade beauties. Yep, a wonderland all her own.

A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

How did He get the Headline?

Just starting out and they are already quibbling about who is first on the header. Hello blogland! The sheltie is Elsa and the stinky Boy on the header is Bartley. We love hearth and home, vintage and have hoarding genes. In case of a natural disaster, we can be prepared. Extra Roast!
We live in Spring....just north of Houston, Texas. Unfortunately, we have no horses or oil wells. Our friends from other countries always ask.  This is our mum's fun place. So we will share projects and adventure stories of a simple life. We had to get her to type this....no thumbs. Preparations for the holidays are great for puttering and cooking. We would like the Sunday roast to fall on our heads...hmmm roast. Beef Burgundy...ummm!
